ALEX THE ASTRONAUT

Music has always been a source of empowerment for Charley. Growingup in afamily of musicians, she gravitated towards performing and song writing as an outletof self-expression, even starting a band with her cousins while in high school.Charley’s fascination with song writing continued solo, evolving into a therapeutic,cathartic outlet, as she grew up and took on new experiences.

CLARE BOWDITCH

Clare Bowditch is a musician, broadcaster, sometimes actor, speaker, entrepreneur, and author. Somewhat of a slashie you might say. She has won the coveted ARIA Award for Best Female for her music, the Rolling Stone Woman of the Year Award for her contribution to Australian culture, and has been nominated for a Logie Award for her role as Rosanna on popular television show Offspring.

CLEMENTINE FORD

CLEMENTINE FORD is a writer, broadcaster and feminist community builder living in Naarm/Melbourne. She is the bestselling author of the feminist manifestos Fight Like A Girl and Boys Will Be Boys, which have also been published to great acclaim in the UK and the US. In 2017, she won the Matt Richell Award for Best New Writer of the Year at the ABIAs. Her most recent book is How We Love: Notes on a life.

EMILY WURRAMARA

Emily Wurramara is an esteemed and award-winning artist, who's grew up between Meanjin (Brisbane) and NT. Renowned for her mesmerizing and enchanting performances, Emily has garnered widespread acclaim and recognition nationwide.

Kate Miller-Heidke is an award-winning singer-songwriter who traverses the worlds of contemporary pop, folk, musical theatre and opera. Lisa is renowned for her beguiling melodies and hushed tones whether playing crystal pure folk such as in the sublime “Pirouette”, or wrapped-up in subtle electro beats such as 2016’s “The Boys”, or the always-popular “Coin Laundry”

Sophia J. Smith is a 16-year-old musician, singer-songwriter from Melbourne. Her music is a captivating fusion of ethereal vocals, enchanting melodies, and rock attitude, exploring universal themes of friendship, love, and life.

How do I get to Kryal Castle?

By Train : Make your way to Kryal Castle by train, swipe your Myki to arrive in less than 90 minutes on the direct V/Line train to Ballarat Station. You will then need to catch either a taxi or uber direct to the castle (13-15 min drive). By Car : Kryal Castle is located just outside Ballarat, approximately one hour's drive from Melbourne. From Melbourne, take the Western Freeway which leads past the townships of Bacchus Marsh and Ballan, to Ballarat. Set on the side of Mt Warrenheip, visitors can enjoy beautiful views over Ballarat and the surrounding countryside from the Castle grounds. There is ample free carparking onsite. By Horse : The lands of Kryal Castle can be approached by any steed deemed pure of heart and brave enough to face the evils that lurk outside our gates. All horses will be fed, watered and stabled and their owners will be granted access to the wonderful grounds of Kryal Castle.

This event is fully catered for with a range of food and bar options available. Free drinking water is available within the venue, patrons may bring an empty plastic bottle for this use. You also may bring in SEALED plastic bottles, no glass is permitted. Patrons may bring a small quantity of snacks in cooler bag.

The events will proceed rain or shine! Only exceptionally severe weather conditions will affect the performances.
Where do I go if I have a VIP ticket?

You will have your own elevated VIP section with express entry and seating located to the right of the stage. This also includes you own personal bar and toilets. Please look for signs when entering the venue.
Will there be an ATM?

There will be no ATM on site, so please organise cash beforehand or bring a credit or debit card.
Will there be a box office?

Tickets must be purchased online prior to the event. There will be one box office in operation, you may speak to a representative there.
Will seating be provided?

There will be limited seating available in the grandstand, based on first in best dressed. Patrons are permitted to bring a portable, high back fold out chair. This chair size is roughly of a normal height chair.
