MIDDLE KIDS
Middle Kids first gained attention in 2017 with their debut single, "Edge Of Town” and their debut album, "Lost Friends", which won Triple J's Best Australian Album Award in 2018. The success of their albums has also earned the band an international touring profile which has included supporting shows with the likes of Bloc Party, Kings of Leon, War on Drugs and Cold War Kids and festivals such as The Governors Ball, Lollapalooza, Osheaga Festival and many more.
ALEX LAHEY
Australian singer/songwriter Alex Lahey has drawn international acclaim with her brand of quick-witted, heart-on-sleeve pop-rock. She harnesses the vulnerability and revved-up guitars of pop-punk, the charm and clever tongue of indie rock, and the catchy melodies and timelessness of pop, all while capturing a relatable, distinctly twentysomething longing. The New York Times has lauded her “colossal guitar tones” and “booming power-pop,” and described her as a “songwriter who turns setbacks and regrets into brash retorts.”

About The Event
Live at Kryal present a night not to be missed with a co headline bill of two of Australia’s finest, The Jezabels and Middle Kids.
The Jezabels broke through with their critically acclaimed album Prisoner with its anthemic hit Endless Summer cementing themselves as one of Australia’s great bands, known for their incredible live show lead by the powerhouse vocals of Hayley Mary The Jezabels will deliver an unforgettable night.
They will be joined by indie rock icons Middle Kids hot off the release of their brand new single Highlands the Sydney band are gearing up to release their third album Faith Crisis this Feb.
Joining both will be Melbourne’s own singer songwriter Alex Lahey bringing her solo set to Kryal.
This event is part of ALWAYS LIVE, a statewide celebration of contemporary live music supported by the Victorian Government through Visit Victoria.

How do I get to Kryal Castle?By Train : Make your way to Kryal Castle by train, swipe your Myki to arrive in less than 90 minutes on the direct V/Line train to Ballarat Station. You will then need to catch either a taxi or uber direct to the castle (13-15 min drive). By Car : Kryal Castle is located just outside Ballarat, approximately one hour's drive from Melbourne. From Melbourne, take the Western Freeway which leads past the townships of Bacchus Marsh and Ballan, to Ballarat. Set on the side of Mt Warrenheip, visitors can enjoy beautiful views over Ballarat and the surrounding countryside from the Castle grounds. There is ample free carparking onsite. By Horse : The lands of Kryal Castle can be approached by any steed deemed pure of heart and brave enough to face the evils that lurk outside our gates. All horses will be fed, watered and stabled and their owners will be granted access to the wonderful grounds of Kryal Castle.

Free drinking water is available within the venue, patrons may bring an empty plastic bottle for this use. You also may bring in SEALED plastic bottles, no glass is permitted. Where do I go if I have a VIP ticket?You will have your own elevated VIP section with express entry and seating located to the right of the stage. This also includes you own personal bar and toilets. Please look for signs when entering the venue.

Will there be a box office?Tickets must be purchased online prior to the event. There will be one box office in operation, you may speak to a representative there.

Will seating be provided?There will be limited seating available in the grandstand, based on first in best dressed. Patrons are permitted to bring a portable, high back fold out chair. This chair size is roughly of a normal height chair.
